As Graphic Designer, you are insanely passionate about design and creativity. You must execute solutions across the design spectrum. You understand brands inside out and know how to push the boundaries. You can make the boring look beautiful using your natural instinct for visual hierarchy, grid systems, type, composition and space. You can work in a fast-moving environment on multiple projects at once. As Graphic Designer, we expect you to possess the following:

  • Experience as a designer (with the portfolio to back it up), ideally within an agency or product business where design and marketing communications are core.
  • Experience at rapid idea generation with the ability to deliver production design under tight timelines while receiving creative and strategic direction.
  • Ability to come up with ideas and inventive design solutions that disrupt briefs.
  • Experience designing brand identity, print and event materials as well as digital display and social advertising assets, landing pages and emails.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign) is a must. Proficiency in After Effects and Google Web Designer would be a plus.
  • Ability to build scalable design systems and guidelines.
  • Communicate your ideas, plans and deliverables.
  • Understand the possibilities and constraints of technical development.
  • Delivery obsessed. Always deliver on time so that our clients look great.

  • Animation concepting, storyboarding and motion graphics
  • UX/UI design experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Accountability

  • Design solutions for graphic design communications across; branding and identity, print design, exhibition design and direct mail.
  • Design solutions for digital design communications across; social, display, web and email.
  • Accurate estimating for design, production and delivery of all projects.

2. Design responsibilities

  • Research design trends, tools and emerging items of interest to educate internal teams and clients.
  • Represent the creative team positively across the company by attending and contributing to internal brainstorming sessions.
  • Participate in a number of pitches.
  • Attend client-facing situations where you will represent creative expertise of the agency.
  • Develop tools and processes to continuously improve efficiency and quality.
  • Collaboration with writers, illustrators, photographers, printers, developers and makers of interactive things.
