Creative Copywriter

We believe in creating Joy through everything we do. The creative team at LEWIS work tirelessly to create unique, usable and beautiful design. We're looking for a first-class writer to combine compelling and emotionally engaging copy with our work. This includes generating ideas that inspire, delight and help our clients form relationships with their audience.

As a Creative Copywriter at LEWIS, you are as passionate about eye-catching and snappy straplines as you are about clear, concise and persuasive copy. You will work across our impressive roster of clients and pitches, and evangelise our internal voice.

We're open about the flexibility of this role. If you're a good fit, then we'll make it work full-time or part-time.

What we're looking for:

  • A natural writer with at least three years' previous copywriting experience across both on and offline channels (we'd love to see a portfolio).
  • Someone with an ‘Ideas first’ mentality - rapid idea generation will be required.
  • Experience in writing digital content – both long and short form, with an understanding of SEO techniques and best practices.
  • A collaborative approach to working with planners, art directors and designers.
  • Experience at storytelling, narrative and tone of voice across customer journeys. Specifically, in the digital space.
  • Confidence in communicating your ideas, plans and deliverables.
  • Delivery obsessed. You always deliver on time so that our clients look great.
  • You live and breathe the written word.

  • Writing creative and editorial content for digital, video, social, product and other channels.
  • Accurate estimating for ideation and delivery of all projects.

2. Responsibilities

  • Represent the creative team positively across the company by attending and contributing to internal brainstorming sessions.
