Following a complete overview and analysis of their current website presence LEWIS worked in conjunction with the Cater Allen marketing team to establish objectives and goals for an upgraded online presence. Since the last full site update was completed in 2006 Cater Allen's business model, structure and objectives had changed, creating the need for a website that answered new challenges.
Solution
LEWIS created a completely new website structured around the needs of the professional intermediary market. Our review and analysis of the existing website showed that many users returned frequently and that the ability to access documents and tools that help to save time and effort was crucial.
The main features of the new website include:
- An upgraded Content Management System (CMS) allowing for total control and the ability for the Cater Allen marketing team to update content quickly and easily
- A CMS controlled mobile website focused on the tools professional advisers need to access whilst on the move
- A collate and send application tool, allowing advisers to gather documentation into one downloadable unit and send directly from the site to clients or themselves
- Quick access menus, useful for deep-linking to content from the navigational menu
- Two new online calculators for AER and Interest Rates
- An interactive Structured Products comparison feature
- A Structured Products Blog and FAQ area.
Results
The purpose of the website rebuild was to ensure for users that 'everything is at their fingertips'. Through the planning and implementation strategy LEWIS were able to define each and every tool, function and action throughout the site to make certain that it answered this objective.
The website now delivers on two main areas; the client is able to quickly and easily adapt the site on a minute-by-minute basis and professional advisers have access to a streamlined site which is focused on their needs and delivers tools and content benefitting their individual circumstances.
